(sigh) Honestly, not really. As you probably know living in the tri-state area it's ESPECIALLY hard to get tickets to smaller club shows by big bands. You have more people competing (since this is the most populated area of the country) and so many 2nd-hand ticket brokers competing. My advice, try the on-sale. You'll probably come up with nothing right away but keep on trying, as tickets sometimes tend to free up after 10-15 min. Check back day of (like 2-3pm on the day of show). Also, keep checking Craigslist each day. Prices will be absurdly high at first but as you get closer and closer to show time they tend to come down.

I'm sure as hell going to keep trying. I'd pay semi high prices even to get to the show. I'd pay around 30 for a ticket if I had to. This is one show I'm not going to miss
...Hopefully
Edit: And the general on sale is when all the little kiddies are at school so that narrows down a huge number of competitors for the tickets

Still a douche if you're making any sort of profit off them (for work you didn't do). Also, most of the kids who want to get into this show probably don't have much money (and given the economy, their parents probably don't either) so maybe try cutting someone a break?

I'd agree that selling pre sale fan club tickets isn't cool. Unless you sold it for $15 that's really just taking advantage of a perk the band is giving to their fans.

I was actually at the show the day AFTER the release show for FUCT. I was at school at Ithaca College so I went to the show in Rochester, NY (either way it was the same set).
For IOH, I was in the studio audience at MTV (yes, embarrassing, I know) for the NYC portion of their "Infinity On Flight" mini-tour that day.

I think there will be plenty of tickets available for this. As with most shows in NYC, scalpers immediately snatch them up thinking there will be high demand. Then, when they realize 50% of tickets bought were from scalpers, they are willing to come down on price.

For anyone wondering, Pete did show up at the location a little after midnight. He bought about 3 cases of FAD and would sign one and then hand it out. After he handed out all the CD's they had, he pulled out 10 1 of a kind CD's with booklets hand drawn by the band. Each CD was dated and signed. Pete then jumped off the counter into the group of about 70-100 kids that showed up, fought his way through the paparazzi and took off. Pretty amazing, this band always goes above and beyond for their fans.

Headfirst Slide into Cooperstown
America's Suiteheart
I Dont Care
Grand Theft Autumn
I Slept With Someone In FOB
Beat It
This Aint A Scene
Dance Dance
AND MANY MORE! Dont take my word on this. Its a start though...
Patrick was funny. The cameras were cool and the show looked great on screen. Tyger wasnt great but did join on stage for FOB a little.
There were back up dancers for a few songs.
Overall, a real celebration of the new album.

Yule Shoot Your Eye Out
Saturday
NOTES:
Order is probably off
Lots of annoying commentary from band in between songs (mostly from Pete)
Tyga sucked (as expected)
Band should go on tour without Pete (to avoid annoying commentary)
Patrick sounded great
They threw out candy canes during "Yule Shoot Your Eye Out"
Dancers on stage for "I Don't Care" and "Cooperstown"
Tyga came out for "Take Over" (he sucked again)
Most annoying song of the night:"What's Your Screen Name" (or something) by Tyga
Shout-outs to James Montgomery (MTV writer) and Pete wished Gabe Saporta well on his surgery tomorrow
More people will be OMG'ing in this thread later

He always had but it just gets overboard. He's got too much of a sense of self-importance. Even Patrick was rolling his eyes at him when he was adding in that random drumbeat during "Yule Shoot Your Eyes Out"
On the other hand, it was really nice to hear Patrick talk. I actually think he's really coming into his own as a frontman and I think he actually is very cool in that humble/bashful kinda way.

I honestly don't understand how people continue to call Pete a douche. The night before the concert he personally bought FAD CD's for all the kids that waited for him to maybe show up at Union Square at midnight in the rain/snow. They were not promo CD's from the label. Not only that, he signed every CD he had before he handed them out. Once he ran out of CD's he proceeded to give out 10 1-of-a-kind CD's that had custom artwork drawn by the band. He didn't have to do any of that, but he always goes out of his way for the fans he knows will show up to events like the one above. Yea I honestly don't understand any of the hate Pete gets. He was super nice when I met him and he has been doing insane amounts of work for the fans especially for this album and people still find ways to bash him. It gets a little ridiculous imo. Him and the rest of the guys in FOB chose to play small extremely intimate shows at various parts of the country, held a cd release party in NYC for 10 dollars a ticket, hung out with countless fans for hours at Washington Square Park, bought copies of the album and handed them to fans, signed even more albums right after the cd release show. You're missing the point. I don't think he's a bad person, he can just come off as kind of full of himself, self-important and just flat-out deuchey at certain points. I applaud him and the band for doing new things and really looking out for their fans in financial times, but when the singer of the band is rolling his eyes in front of the crowd at you, it's just time to cut it out.

seconded...that's part of what gives me incredible respect for him and the band...whatever good press/bad press they're getting, whether they're winning over the "scene" or even the pop masses...they are a band that is truly focused on their fans, especially the most dedicated ones that have been following them the longest.

wtf is this about eye rolling??
Patrick rolled his eyes a few times while Pete was talking(or rambling on, however you look at it).
Everyone also made it a huge deal that Patrick was pissed bc Pete was playing the barking dog noise during Yule Shoot Your Eye Out, even though he has done this on pretty much every date for the past few weeks.
I wouldn't look too much into it.

I highly doubt Pete was drunk
My friend works for Nokia and said that they all were drunk.
