So, a couple of friends are roadtripping home to New Jersey and I'm making a mix for them of New Jersey based bands. Can I get a few recs, please? It will be greatly appreciated.

They are from Arizona. I wish they were from Jersey though, it would just add to the great roster we have here. :(

seriously? are any of them from jersey?
the only reason why i thought they were was because the song big casino goes "i'm the new jersey success story" lol

haha, seriously though, the tri-state area music scene is pretty dry.

I think they are all from Arizona. The reason I know this is because I looked it up right when I heard that same exact lyric hah.

Personally I think it's a shout out to Bon Jovi wile fitting into the context of the song. In any case the song/album is beautiful.

hahah yeah, i probably should have looked it up before i posted that!

i totally agree about the new album. it's the perfect balance between keeping their original sound but still putting out something new and different. they're such a solid band. they're the only band that i could listen to for 5 years and still think the same thing about them that i did when i first heard bleed american, if that makes sense lol.
