So I'm really into bands like Cadillac Blindside, and Polar Bear Club that feature more gruff vocalists with still a huge melodic aspect, especially in their guitar work, and the other day I ran into a Hot Water Music song called Trusty Chords on a myspace profile and loved it. I've listened to the other songs on their myspace and none really match how awesome it is. I kind of want to go out and at least buy Caution, but I was wondering if any other albums of theirs contain songs in the same vein as Trusty Chords.

Let me know what you think,

Thanks.

Forever and Counting and Flight and A Crash have what youre looking for.

Probably more so of Flight and A Crash... that's when they got REALLY influenced by Leatherface, Samiam, etc. and got really melodic. Fuel for the Hate Game is amazing as well!

Check out the songs "Sons and Daughters", "In the Gray", "Translocation", and "Jack of All Trades".

haha god dammit. I'm going to spend so much money on music now. Just checked out Samiam and I really am liking them too. You should just give me a list of albums in this vein of music that I should check out, and I'll probably go buy them all. Leatherface I listened to a bit of, but wasn't too impressed. I can see the influence it had though.
