thread is self-explanatory. buddy of mine and i were bored last night and decided to try this out. there have been 'favorite bands' threads but i haven't seen anything like this so it should be interesting. list your top, limit it to 15
my list, no order

orchid - ...and the cat turned to smoke
joshua fit for battle - sleepwalker's guide

saetia - closed hands
la quiete - la fine non e la fine
bucket full of teeth - hollow
saetia - venus and bacchus
welcome the plague year - craft messenger
city of caterpillar - heart filled reaction to dissatisfaction
neil perry - fading away like the rest of them
pg.99 - comedy of christ

was a toss up between that and a few other pg.99 tracks for me. in the end i went with comedy of christ because i like the riffs and vocals the most, although it doesn't have as good lyrics as some of the other songs.

i think that was the band that recorded with pictures of ex girlfriends all over the room they recorded in so they would be emotional when they screamed. lol

totally untrue, we recorded in the back of a wholesale warehouse in a non temperature regulated room in the winter using space heaters to keep our hands warm enough to feel our instruments so we could play.
way worse than being a room full of photos of our ex girlfriends.

should have put up photos of your ex-girlfriends around the warehouse. the resulting angst and freezing temperatures would have probably resulted in something more emotional.

For The Fallen Dreams.

That was hilarious, but Cops is actually an awesome song. And I would've been confused if that had been kodan armada doing that with ex's because they seemed much more politically based than other 'screamo' bands are.

i got them mixed up with a similarly named band from here that also played screamo and had a bunch of members. oops.
