Alright so this is a few days late but oh well, I went to this show because I like the sound of FTSK's. The last two times I saw them first at the Indy 500 practice session they only played 3 songs which was a bust. Then at warped it was 30 mins so it was nothing much. Plus since is the holidays this gets my out of the house.

The Emerson is a real small place, not very big, I dont know the acctually capacity however. This show was sold out. They turned away 10 people infront of me and more people wanted in. Anyway I only have the set lists for Forever the Sickest Kids sorry. But Asteria was really good, I was very impressed. I am liking the way they sound. If you dont know of them yet check them out. Then The Morning Light came on. Not alot of people were into them but I loved their set. It seemed to be a mixture of both their EP and the new CD. I thought they were good.

Anyway FTSK's set list:
My Worst Nightmare
Whoa Oh!
Hey Brittany
I Dont Know About You, But I Came to Dance
Men in Black (Cover)
Breakdown
Believe Me, I'm Lying
Jingle Bells (this was really funny by them, talking about christmas songs and so they just started singing it)
Catastrophe
-ENCORE-
She's a Lady

I thought they did an okay show, Jonathan's mic was really fucked up at some points during the show and he got really pissed. Austin is just goofy with his reaction, they are a good group of guys I enjoyed it for such a small club tour. Also I felt like they could of done like acouple of more songs since they were headling. I mean they started late but ended early it was wierd.

If you dont like this band then thats alright, this is here for the people that are going to get a basic understanding of what they are playing

I love the emerson. I have seen so many good shows there. I thought about going to this, but was too busy.

Nine songs on a headlining date is pathetic... How about they learn some more of their songs so people don't have to get the same set tour after tour?

thank you!
thats what I was thinking. They need to play more or different songs, they should just start writting new material instead going on more tours, take a break

Their album just came out this year....And this is their second tour of the year since the release of their full album. First headliner. [Edit] - I guess third tour run if you count warped.

They have around 14/15 songs I think.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love for them to play a little bit longer and a few more songs, but I wouldn't hold it against them. If they had 3 albums out and one that came out a year and a half ago and they are only playing 9 songs on a headliner tour, I would be upset, too. But they only have one full album out so going to one of their shows I wouldn't expect them to be playing as many songs as a headliner that has more albums out.

there is just no one booking it.

me and my friends book hardcore shows all the time, even bigger bands, but the emerson is just too expensive for us to use.
it sucks but thats how it is.

apparently kulture entertainment is going to start doing shows again...so you'll probably see big shows at the emerson again....
