They played at the Black Sheep. Last show on their two month tour. There were at the very most 25 people in the crowd. Man it was embarrassing, but Forgive Durden's stellar performance was not. Three local acts opened, nothing amazing. Thomas played a set with just him and his electric guitar, very awesome. Setlist:

Genesis
The Missing Piece
Life Is Looking Up
The Spider And The Lamps
Meet The King
Toba The Tura
The End And The Beginning
---
Pure Imagination (from Willy Wonka)
I'm A Sucker For Fakes
(I don't remember, but it was another cover)
Cue The Sun

If my camera's batteries didn't die on me unexpectedly, I sure as hell would have recorded the second set.

Thomas was nice enough to sign my copy of Razia's Shadow, quick crappy photo of that right here:

I was not let down by their live performance, after reading negative posts on here I've on here I didn't have high expectations at all, but I enjoyed it. The female singer/guitar player/keyboardist wasn't amazing, and neither was the guy that did the male parts, but Thomas was definitely at the top of his game and didn't seem discouraged by the horrendously small crowd. They're were still a few of us singing along and going crazy. Definitely worth the boring ass hour long drive.

Sounds cool. Wish there were more people though, this band deserves better.

I definitely agree. It's a complete shame that Fueled By Ramen does very little to promote Forgive Durden, they're probably their most obscure band on their roster. This is evidenced by the fact I don't know a single person that has even heard of them (aside from the internet, of course), it's like their fans are spread apart alone in every city. Maybe it's just Colorado, but damn, they're on the same label as goddamn Fall Out Boy, something needs to be fixed here.

Wow, sounds awesome. I'd love to watch him play Pure Imagination xD
But yeah, I agree about the lack of promotion by Feuled by Ramen, with the amount of really high-profile guest vocalists on Razias, you would have thought there'd be plenty of fans.

Wonder if they'll ever come tour the UK :) I can live in hope.

I really enjoyed the guy singer, for some reason. He had a lot of energy and his facial expressions matched his spider part perfectly. But yeah, the female was iffy. Plus her voice wasn't nearly loud enough at my show

Thats kinda disappointing... 25 people? Wow that must've been one awkward show... How can they do only portions of Razia's Shadow when it is a full-length musical?

Forgive Durden really should look into making Razia's Shadow into a Stage Musical, and take it on tour and/or Broadway. But I guess they wont consider doing that, since their concerts often have such low attendance rates.

I agree with what everyone is saying about forgive durden, they need more credit
they are a very talented band, and I pitched the idea about razia's shadow to my theatre person and he is listening to the album. He said he loves the music but wouldnt now about making it into an acctual play without some visual concepts. But I am doing a project about it and it works great!!

also thats sad there was only 25 people
