Okay, I know this has been televised in England, i'm not sure where else... the news coverage on this case in Australia has been pretty big.
If you've seen the movie "Brokedown Palace", well, I guess it's like that. Schapelle Corby is an Australian girl who was found with a bag of marijuana in her surfboard bag that she says was planted there by a smuggler in Bali, and yesterday her verdict came through - 20 years. Prosecutors have appealed to make her sentence longer (death sentence was possible).
Personally I think she's innocent. But at the same time I completely understand that while you're in another country you're bound by their law. If you're caught with marijuana, I guess you're guilty from the start whether it belongs to you or not. Basically her defence was that she simply didn't fit the profile of a drug smuggler, and that gets you nowhere.
Anyway, there are multiple articles about the case here: http://www.news.com.au/index/0,10121,31317,00.html
