Do you remember, many years ago when we were young.
How we used to play together everyday?
It seems like just yesterday the young world of candy, toys and
summer days.
That never seemed to end
When we played hide n' seek
From dawn to dusk.
Then sat outside on someone's roof and listened music
and talked about what's new until our mothers called us in.
And do you remember that one winter day when it snowed for
hours and hours, and we tried to build a snowman, or when
we made a game of raking leaves.
Or how about the time we gathered funny looking leaves from your back
yard and sold it to the neighbors next door.
And the big day when we took the training wgeels of our bikes.
But those days passed by like the speed of light, and we grew up, as children do
Until the day when we assumed that we were to grown up.
And when I see you
I know you've dhanged in ways I can't explain. You're like a flower
that blossomed before time and falls and becomes a victim in the
febuary frost.
