This is a little something I wrote after a friend died. This came from the heart, all the way from the bleeding center; it's a relatively slower song than my others, but what hath depression be otherwise?
Hidden Sorrow
Life, is something you can't change/
When it's taken all away/
By a simple decision/
A choice that's made to stay/
I, will never forget this/
A moment that's faithless/
In time, apocalypse/
Chorus:
It's hard to see, for all the heartless/
For all the things that never show/
It's hard to breath, and still to grieve for/
A someone you'll never know/
----
An hour lasts too long/
Waiting for life's new song/
When savagely ripped away/
To live and not to be/
Is regardless in things to me/
It's more than enough this way/
(chorus)
I don't claim to know much/
But this much I tell you so/
It's always hard to believe such/
When all you want to say is no/
(chorusx2)
