that game scared the shit out of me. i loved it. it was too easy though.
I dunno... i don't really like that they put The Rock in it. Nothing against him, but i'm pretty sure the movie's either gonna be PG-13 and probably have silly jokes in it too then. I'd personally want Doom to be reallllly dark.... like throw a badass unknown into the lead and have the movie more about hell.

I've got nothing against the Rock.... Rundown was a really fun movie. BUT... not the tone I'd want for a Doom movie. I get why they casted the Rock, it'll probably make a good amount of money... just wont be the movie i'd rather it be.

I think the movie looks awful and not very true to the games. Nothing against The Rock though, he did a great job in Walking Tall.

you've seen previews or what?
yeah, i dunno what you're talking about... i dont think there's any previews online yet. And the only production photo i've seen is:

which doesn't reallly make it look good or bad yet.

Nope Doom is gonna be rated R. A very hard rated R. From what I read, The Rock switches around to be evil in this one.

I made a thread on it already.
Its gunna blow ass.
From what I know the same guys who made House of the dead are making this movie. I mean the plot outline is horrible
When a Special Ops squadron answers a distress call from a science lab on the planet Olduvai, their investigation reveals that a series of mutant beings are systematically killing off the population there...

I could completely see the director of house of the dead making this movie... ALL he does is video game movies (house of the dead, alone in the dark, bloodrein.. or something like that). And.... he's such a bad director. He he directs this, i'm not gonna see it.

nothing more true..probably.
ok its not being directed by Uwe Boll (house of the dead, etc..) but rather the guy who did "Speed" and "The Devil's Advocate". So i'd say its back in the air... if it is a hard R, then i might like it.

Yep, it is back up in the air. Speed was pretty bad in my opinion, but The Devil's Advocate was average to good. so i'm going to put my bets on average.
