Such odd noms this year. I do love some of them though.

I love it. Probably the most obscure set of noms they've ever had.

Righteous five for NPH, as well as no nominations for 2 1/2 Men. Wooooo!!!

Last season of Weeds wasn't a comedy

Still, some weird choices. Not bad, but not what I was expecting.

Why are there only 3 animated movies too?

I would love for Dexter to win something.

No nominations for LOST at all. Le sigh...

wow this list does one thing...gets me EXTREMELY pumped for Benjamin Button. I had no idea it had "good movie" buzz lol. I thought it was just a crazy like, radical story plot, that although I love, usually arent contenders for "best picture."

I love how most of the movies nominated aren't out yet haha.

Kind of surprised to see Tom Cruise on there for Tropic Thunder. Don't get me wrong, he was great, just didn't expect to see a Golden Globe nomination for it.

I'm also surprised there isn't more love for The Dark Knight.

Shocked to see The Visitor in the Best Picture category but what a pleasant surprise; bummed to see no nomination for Richard Jenkins, though.

The Visitor was not nominated, at least not according to IMDb.

I think i'm most disappointed with Kristen Bell being nominated for Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I loved the movie, but of the four main leads, she is by far the weakest.

Check that. Apparently someone at IMDb thought it'd be funny to post that up. She is NOT nominated.

Disappointed that Rosemary Dewitt and Bill Irwin weren't nominated, but so happy Rebecca Hall got one. She is great in VCB.

It's kind of weird to see The Reader in the Best Picture and Director categories.

From what I've read it seems to be split right down the middle review-wise in regards to liking and not liking it.

This just has me even more stoked to see The Wrestler, Benjamin Button, Doubt, Frost/Nixon, and Revolutionary Road now.

Why is supporting actor/actress for drama and comedy mixed? Fuck the Golden Globe. Lots of shitty nods.

Also, let Winslet win something.

Rourke for best actor, and Vicky Cristina for best comedy/musical, even though I have yet to see The Wrestler, and Happy Go Lucky will beat Vicky Cristina I can still hope.

Call me crazy but Kevin Dillion plays Drama a lot better than Kevin Connelly plays E on Entourage. That's not to discredit Connelly, because he's awesome, but I'd like to see Dillion get a nom

With all these random nods I was hoping I'd see Jean Claude Van Damme get a nod for JCVD. Oh and go NPH!

also, i'm kind of surprised by the lack of Milk nominations. Haven't seen the movie yet, but it seems to be getting tons of buzz

Hell yes for NPH, In Bruges, and the strangely awesome TV nominations, but I have to say:

WTF to no Wall-E comedy/musical nomination. Unless they outright didn't consider it, that's BS. Burn After Reading over it? Come on now people.

Also, I'm way behind on movies. At least I have the excuse of living in Alaska, where good movies are but a fantasy in our theaters.

I kind of hate the3 golden globes. Wall-e gets shoved into best animated and no film nods for Milk and The Dark Knight?

I am at least very happy with Benjamin Button.

I want a win for Michael C Hall, Dexter, David Duchovny, Californication, or Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors is such an under-appreciated show). I don't really care about anything else. The Golden Globes kinda suck anyway but I wanna see my homies win.

Ledger had best win with the relatively weak competition he has.

I haven't seen Doubt, but with PSH and Fiennes also nominated, I kinda doubt Ledger's competition is weak.

THE dumbest thing i've read on the Golden Globes today. Sex and the City SNUBBED? Seriously?

The guy also needs to take some writing lessons.
