R.I.P. Ryan Russel Stevens

I regret to inform you that on Sunday, May 15th, 2005, Ryan Stevens (bass player for Anias (http://www.myspace.com/anias)) passed away. I would like to send my condolences out to Ryan's family and all his friends. You will not be forgotten. An official statement from the band is below:

We regret to inform you:
Our beloved friend, bass player, and the heart and soul of Anias passed away
Sunday, May 15, 2005. Ryan Russel Stevens was an incredible friend and was
loved by everyone. Ryan was a guy who loved and lived life to the fullest. He
devoted his life to his family, friends, and music; always putting others before
him, never selfish and always giving. A guy who loved to laugh and bring
smiles to others. A guy so dedicated and hardworking to get what he wanted, and he
always accomplished everything. Ryan Russel Stevens was an exceptional
musician, not only our best friend. He rocked the stage with an extreme intensity. He
always gave more than he could and without Ryan, Anias would be nothing. Ryan
will be greatly missed, never forgotten, and will live on forever through all
of us. Ryan we miss you so much!

Goodbye our Dear Friend.

Thank you to everyone for all their support though this hard time. Please
take this time to remember him.

I head these guys only a couple times and I derfinitely liked what I heard. The song "Do not use if seal is broken" is one fucking amazing song, as well as the others. This really sucks to have someone pass away so young. I also would like to know how he died and I will say a prayer for his family and friends. R.I.P.
