Daphne Loves Derby (www.daphnelovesderby.com) have posted a new song titled "Hammers And Hearts" on their pureVOLUME.com (www.purevolume.com/daphnelovesderby) page. This song is featured on the band's upcoming album, On The Strength Of All Convinced, which comes out July 26th.

its cool frank i didnt see it the first time :)... but really honestly their last ep was a dissapointmet to me.. and the new song is not the best either.... :( i had so much hope for these guys.

Wow...I feel like I am the only one who still LOVES this band. Hmm...oh well. I'll stick with them until they start sounding like Simple Plan (yes, I know comments like these are overused, but I'm not that good at telling funnies).

the song is alright, i do think, however, the album will be very good. i think this song is better than most of their last ep... kenny's voice sounds amazing, it seems mr. bates has done a very good job.

The song is gorgeous. They never let me down. I can't wait to see them next month.

Where did you see the video?

I was the assitant to the director for the video.
The director was an asshole and the concept is very cliche
its a bunch of high school kids sitting around at a BBQ
It was the same director who did Straylight run's video
so i guess I was just expecting something on that level
but who knows with the power of computers these days
it may turn out decent, it is going to be on MTV's advance warning
right before the album comes out too

the guys are cool, but they suck live. no energy...bad setlist...no backup vocals...pretty lame show. i wouldnt recommend going to see them. but i love em on cd, they sound awesome.

Personally, I do not like the vocals in Something Corporate and I especially do not like bands who's vocals sound like crappy Something Corporates... Bc then it becomes crappy ripoffs of crappy vocals, and then it likes twice the crap. Just my opinion.

I was afraid that the band were heading in a different direction compared to their EP, but this is a fun song. I am now really looking foward to this album...

the CD is good I have heard it, but the live show is nothing special
Although the guys in the band are some of the nicest guys around.

I'm not expecting naked women with Boston Cream Pies smothered on their chests. I just want to see/hear one of my favorite bands. I have a live video of them. Sounds/looks good to me. Why were they a disappointment to you? Just curious since you're the assistant director of their first video and all.

I admit the vocals are not original, Frank, but I love pussy music like SoCo and DLD, what can I say?
