Seriously, there has been a lot of discussion about this kind of shit on these forums. What I don't understand about people who keep yelling for Brand New to play YFW songs or Thrice to play their old shit all the time....

Why don't you look up a fucking set list before you go to a show?! I do it all the time, and if I absolutely hate what is being played, I simply won't go. I swear that for 90% of live performances, there are set lists floating around on message boards somewhere (including here). If you don't like what's being played, don't go.

when i go to underoath shows there is always one or two kids who are like when the sun sleeps and its like there not gonna play that

or thursday they say dying in new brunswick

it'd be interesting to hear your reasoning on that. Just because a band is listed in my profile interests doesn't mean that I think they are incredibly talented or put out mature music...I simply may enjoy them. Nor does it mean that I don't have appreciation for the bands that aren't on that list. But 'even' it is, considering I know nothing of your music taste and you know nothing of mine.

At any rate, I just wish ignorant people would maybe research the band, before they are going to a show, whether it be in what they are currently playing on tour, or possibly (if they haven't listened in a long time) their musical progression with time.
