great band, they have come a very long way. i remember seeing them at a small venue with about 300 kids tops... it seem like every week 18V and throwdown had a show together. good time, good dudes. can't wait to hear some new stuff.

nice interview, although I would have just asked them if they go out their way to make completely unoriginal, generic music, their only being to shift records and make paper by exploiting this shit music scene and appealing to kids aged around 13 who eat up this kind of heard-it-all-before screamo rubbish. x

in all honesty you cant possibly think this band is great. they put out one of the worst releases in "obsession" ive ever heard. throwdown may be even worse.

haha, agreed. as bad as 18V are, they'll never be as awful as throwdown. their music is just plain embarrassing. (i do occasionally have nice things to say about bands)

honestly, as an 18V album... compared to until the ink, then yes it's a let down. But i really don't agree with holding bands to previous releases, but to take each release as it's own... i believe that it's a good rock album, but as a core release of what the band was then i don't like it. When ink first came out i didn't like it that much, there was a lot to handle in one sitting... vanity and obsession to me was easier to get into. o man throwdown... now i love the old version of that band, i'll see what the new LP sounds like, hopefully i'll get back into them again.

i dont think anything in the world is as bad as 18v or throwdown. seriously, both of those bands suck balls.
