hmmm weird. Was this recent or awhile back. I think his voice has gotten better since early days. He was singing and screaming when he was suppose to, and rarely missed a note. O well. I'd feel the same way if I saw a show like that. or I am caught them on a good day. But when I see them again in March I will let you know.

their live show is quite respectable and fun,if only because it is full of gimmicks (a huge ligthing setup AND a guy in a pig suit)
and their core fanbase is VERY loyal to them and will probably show up in droves just for their set...
id go to this for the combination of all four bands though...

I was thinking of going. Before I do, I need to get someone willing to go into the venue during the brokencyde set (I know it'll be hard) to call me when they are over. Seriously even catching the last few seconds of their set will enrage me.

But what really pisses me off is that Senses Fail doesn't bring their awesome tour with Dance Gavin Dance, and Sky Eats Airplane to Dallas, but they bring this crap? Shame on you Senses Fail

Since you seem to be the only one who likes them besides me haha, have you seen them before? Its the same damn setlist.. They played a show in Chicago like a week or 2 before Christmas and didnt play Chrisstmas in Hollywood.. Most of em said they wanted to play it, but they were playing stuff off the album to promote it... I think ONE song that wasnt on the album wouldnt hurt. Itd keep people interested like "Hey do you know where i cxan get this track?" and all that..Hell that might even help spread the word

I don't get why people get so dramatic about "standing through brokenCYDE's set." I'm not trying to be an asshole, but I'm trying to reason. From the looks of it, they're playing four to five songs. They also play first. This provides many options for not letting a four song set ruin your entire concert experience. Coming a little later or checking out the other bands' merch provides two of the more reasonable ones. It's not like venue security will ever be pushing you up to the front as if to force-feed your intake of bad music, and most of these venues on this tour are big enough to have another room or a side merch area away from the stage. In conclusion, I agree this band is repulsive, it's just not a huge deal considering Senses Fail appears to be playing a decent set for about an hour :)

As an after thought, I wonder who covers Mike's old screaming parts seeing as he did a decent amount of the screaming in their performances (I didn't see the last tour.)

well i don't know about hollywood undead or haste the day, but i saw senses fail tonight in columbus, and it was an off night headliner, just them and 2 local bands. and buddy mentioned how they were on tour with brokencyde, and they fucking sucked haha
i thanked him after the show for coming to cbus without brokencyde, and he's like "you're welcome" in a tone that made it obvious he was happy to have a night away from them too haha
and they played 187 as an encore...i was so happy :D

Buddy made a crack about Brokencyde at the New York, NY show...he said something like, "I was finally recovering from a two-day hangover - then I heard Brokencyde's set!" At first, I thought he was joking around, but then he followed up with something like, "Don't call me out during your set unless you want me to retaliate."

Very strange dynamic between Senses Fail's generally ill disposition towards everything and Haste the Day's "We love everyone! Jesus loves you!" attitude.

Maybe, but, for what it's worth, both Senses Fail and Hollywood Undead's set lists were the same length - one hour. Like I mentioned, I left before HU took the stage, but I saw the show schedule beforehand.

It's not worth going to see Haste the Day. The set list is indeed only seven songs, and the production at the show I saw was terrible. I am a huge fan, but their sound (not the musicianship, just the quality of their production) was very poor - the guitars were too quiet in the mix, the drums sounded tinny, and the backup vocalist was way too loud. At first, I blamed the venue, but I thought Senses Fail's on-stage production was solid. I also checked out some video of other Haste the Day shows, and the production was suffering from the same issues - I guess that's just the way they like it. I wanted to find the band in the crowd and say something, but I couldn't find them.

The CHICAGO show was last night and it was amazing. Brokencyde was still aweful, but Il admit there better live than they are on there recorded shit. With the smoke and the lights it made the show a little better seeing as how i was stuck there watching Brokencyde. Still woulda rather not been there for that but I was against the barricade and was holding my position till Undead. Haste the Day was amazing and now got added to Bamboozle so I'm stoked.
Senses Fail was good for what they are but I am not a fan.
Hollywood Undead was amazing as usual and since they were headlining it was a hyped show again. The group stage diving everywhere, crowd surfing constantly. Crowd surfing chicks in thongs and booty shorts which is always nice. Still wish theyd play stuff like Circles and Knife Called Lust but whatever. and Im super stoked they got added to Bamboozle as well

I felt bad for all the parents in attendance last night...and all the 14 year old girls who thought Brokencyde would be headlining. (Cause "OMG THEY'RE SO MUCH MORE POPULAR THAN HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD!! EVERYONE KNOWS BROKENCYDE!")
Thankfully, I was paid to be there and the crowd was at least entertaining. Also, Buddy was very cool for just coming to the merch area after the senses fail set and hangin with fans.

brokencyde made me want to kill my self last night, i absolutely hate them and was disgusted by how many kids were into them. i didn't quite get why hollywood undead would headline over senses fail on their first tour until they came on stage last night. the crowd was absolutely ape shit and i think they did really well. seemingly not a lot of people were there for haste the day and senses fail and i was kind of bummed because SF played a ton of their new stuff which is my least favorite album. I was suprised to see HU take off their masks but the masks make them look dumb anyway. SF also had an off day 2 days ago and came and hung out in the crowd at the NFG concert which was awesome.
