I've had that cd forever and never listened to it. God & Mars is a decent song.

I love God and Mars, but the rest of the CD seems slow and plodding (ok, not the rest, but the other two songs I've heard). The vocal melodies seemed bland, and everything else seemed uninspired. Am I missing something, because I really, really do like God and Mars?

I'm in love with Days Away. I can't stop listening to that CD. "Mirrors" is the one song that really stuck out to me at first, but I love the entire CD.

We have topics about Days Away all the time, haha. But yes I agree with you, I love this CD. One of my favorites from 05.

I rediscovered this album yesterday. it's awesome, especially since I always thought "God And Mars" was the highlight of it. Atlantic made a huge mistake not pushing this band.

Such a great album. They could have been a lot bigger than they were. I was heartbroken when they broke up but I'm okay now that we have GOW. Their music has clicked with me on such a higher level.

I like GOW too, but like with many bands they made the "great band to folky/singer-songwriter" transition. not a bad thing alot of the time just sayin

I'm exactly the same. I think I like "Ideas" a bit more though.

I remember seeing them with Circa a couple of days time back in the day. A little keyboard-heavy but still really gorgeous music.
