Wind-up Records, in conjunction with Twentieth Century Fox and Marvel Enterprises is proud to announce the complete track listing for the July 5, 2005 soundtrack Fantastic Four – The Album. The soundtrack is the ideal audio companion to the cool and thrilling visual ride of the action-packed movie. Songs were written and recorded specifically for the film or were inspired by the film’s storyline and characters. The soundtrack’s musical scope will delight and enthrall fans of rock, hip hop and pop with new songs from platinum and gold recording artists including Velvet Revolver (their first new music since the release of their double-platinum album, Contraband), Joss Stone, Ben Moody featuring Anastacia, Sum 41, Taking Back Sunday, Simple Plan, Chingy, and Ryan Cabrera.

In a synergistic first, Taking Back Sunday wrote the song “Error Operator” for the movie, the soundtrack and the Fantastic Four video game created by Activision. Two songs introduce newly formed groups; Loser (former Marilyn Manson guitarist/writer John 5) and T.F.F., (a one time collaboration featuring Brody Dalle of the Distillers, Chris Cester of Jet, Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, and Dolf de Datsun of the Datsuns). Also of note is the stateside debut of the enormously popular Japanese act Orange Range. Additional songs were contributed by Alter Bridge, Lloyd Banks, Submersed, Breaking Point and others. The lead single and first music video from Fantastic Four – The Album is “Everything Burns” by Ben Moody featuring Anastacia.

The complete track listing for Fantastic Four – The Album is:
(* indicates song written for or inspired by the film)
1. Velvet Revolver –“Come In Come On” *
2. Taking Back Sunday – “Error Operator” *
3. Chingy – “Relax” *
4. Joss Stone – “Whatever Happened to the Heroes” *
5. Omnisoul – “Waiting (save your life)”
6. Ryan Cabrera – “Always Come Back To Me” *
7. Ben Moody f/ Anastacia – “Everything Burns”
8. Miri Ben-Ari f/ P. Monch – “New World Symphony”
9. Megan McCauley – “Die For You”
10. Sum 41 – “Noots”
11. Simple Plan – “Surrender”
12. T.F.F. – “I’ll Take You Down” *
13. Lloyd Banks – “On Fire”
14. Megan McCauley – “Reverie”

yeah this movie looks terrible. but i do think it's cool that the bands wrote it for the soundtrack, based on the characters and themes and all that crap. much better than having a song with absolutely zero relevance just being stamped to the soundtrack for the sake of making one

DroppedUrPocket

They spent more money on the soundtrack than they did for good actors to play Human Torch and Mr. Fantastic. :ugly_tock

With that said, I think it's going to be another typical summer movie with bad acting, campy dialogue, and lots of explosions. Dr. Doom is the shit, though, yo!

hah yeah TBS really is becoming a soundtrack band. its cool to see Sum 41's bonus song noots on there. not a huge fan of the band, but the song's fun. I'm pretty skeptical about the movie, but I enver thought a live action FF movie would be great. It'd take some time and care, and they sped this movie so damn fast. Here's looking forward to some Batman Begins though!

I dont' have that one but I do have a quality video recording of the other new one.

Anyways...I had doubts about this movie until I recently saw the NEW trailer. Its going to be pretty good for what it is.

Alba definitely looked best in Idle Hands, especially in the bedroom scene.

And watching the previews while waiting for Episode III to come on, I think the Human Torch has some pretty funny pick up lines. Might get a laugh or two as the comic relief. Dr. Doom is one of my favorite villians, though.

I don't know. At the rate that everything else is going, I think pretty soon they're going to make a CGI-based Star Fox movie.

Fuck yeah. I still have to hear their new music.

As for the movie, I say the only good part is the Human Torch. They've at least made him humorous and sarcastic from the previews and it looks like his character could shine through the rest, which is good, because Chris Evans is underrated. (Ignoring the Cellphone movie, I didn't feel like wasting money on that).

I'm stoked for F4 though. I read this one a lot back in the day, so I'm looking forward to seeing it, though my hopes aren't all that high that it'll actually be good. But at least it might have some decent action and Jessica Alba is definitely easy on the eyes.

This movie is going to be great, no doubts about it.
it is excellently cast, if you say other wise you know nothing of comic books( I know way to much) they aren't real people they do the bes tyou can you also have to allow room for retelling of origins, this one is a great blend of the original origin and the Ultimate origin

I have been waiting for a F4 moive ever since they stopped making the original one way back (they thought some kid would set him self on fire or some lame reason like that)

I think he might be talking about the director issue. http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=20363

They've also casted Kelsey Grammar as Beast and Vinnie Jones (awesome big Frankenstein looking British dude from Snatch, Gone In Sixty Seconds, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Eurotrip, etc.) as Juggernaut.

yeah, that's what i meant. i mean seriously, Brett Ratner? that's the equivalent of getting Joel Schumacher to direct the next Spider-man movie after Sam Raimi leaves to do Batman (or for those who don't speak "geek" it's like say anything and good charlotte trading max bemis and joel madden). sucks, cuz i was really excited about the last couple casting announcements you mentioned too.

yea, whats the deal with X-Men? I understand they have huge roster that cost a lot of cash, and there has been director problems since the beginning of time. its too bad they couldn't just get someone inspired enough to make a franchise of it, like Spider-Man has and Sin City probably will.

a note to marvel: slow the fuck down and take your time on movies to make sure they come out good. (if you've been following the news on x3 the past few days, you know what i mean)

I have no problem with the Comic Book Craze, but I do think its worthless to dump out a movie for the sake of making a movie of it. I think Fantastic 4 will be excellent, and could be a great franchise opposite X-Men years, but there really are a lot of crap ones out.
