Fall Out Boy (http://www.falloutboyrock.com) will be performing on Friday's TRL - no word on whether it will be a full song performed or a typical TRL ADD-influenced 20-sec clip.

When I saw Gym Class Heroes with Streetlight the other night, they said "we just got off tour with a bunch of boy bands." I immediately liked them. And I think all Fall Out Boy fans should try listening to a band with actual talent like Streetlight Manifesto.

they wont last much longer..they debuted at 9 on billboard ..but now down to 60 -something in just 3 weeks..total fad music.

I would go into detail about how you're wrong, but it obviously wouldn't make a difference.

im with him, it seems to me like they're trying to alert the trl audience that theres a scene, like they want their video to be on trl because they want to represent their scene, but i think everyones heard of pop punk songs that sounds like tv show themes (sugar, we're going down, helena, ect.) from bands with weird videos. they arn't anything new, i think i saw this website that talks about scene bands and how their songs are constructed around breakdowns; i was listening to fall out boy and they seem like that. basically fall out boy has toured with blink, but they wont "break into" trl like them, or anything like they claim they're doing....shakira breaking into trl was more of a difference, than fob "breaking" trl.

Yeah, problem with that is they are also dissing The Academy Is..., who from what I heard outplayed GCH anyways. Not sure Gym Class fit the mix as well on that tour as the other bands did.
On a side note, the Streetlight/GCH is a sweet tour, I am sad I missed it.

I really don't think GCH were being serious/demeaning when they made that boy band comment. They were probably joking, considering they wouldn't be half as known as they are now if it wasn't for Pete Wentz and some of the bands they've been touring with. I admit that the tour made as much sense as putting Eisley on the NFG/Reggie tour, but I still wouldn't take what they said too seriously.
