I really doubt she would be into anything like Bane, Converge, or Comeback Kid. But try some of these bands, as they are a lot more catchier and easier to get into to, especially if you have never listened to anything remotely near the hardcore genre. And these definately are nowhere near hardcore, but they still have somewhat of a hardcore influence in them, and you can expand into listening to more of actual hardcore bands.
