No, I'm the guy who roots for them to get embarrassed as much as possible so the brain dead owner might possibly feel some shred of emotion that would inspire him to fire the fucking joke of a head coach that is Dick Jauron.

starting Washington D against Cincy because of the matchup is not looking good.

and yes, the fox feed is unwatchable in seattle right now. probably because of the snow.

Why has Larry Johnson thrown 2 passes for KC today and one for a TD? Are they using him out of the wildcat with a run/pass option?

Larry Johnson has already completed two passes in the first half.

I know it isn't his fault, but I seriously don't think he is a good enough QB. He makes stupid decisions a lot of the time (yes I know that is mostly the O-lines fault) and I think we need to start looking elsewhere in terms of a QB.

At least Seneca is able to take off running if he gets into trouble and doesnt force a pass for an interception like Matt does a lot of the time.

I dunno I guess I'm kinda on the fence about Matt, but I haven't been happy with him for the past couple of years......but then again...most of it probably is because the rest of the offense isnt very strong

you're fucking retarded. it might be time to groom somebody else, but it's not time to completely cut ties with matt. he was great last year when we were healthy and had receivers. this is NOT his fault. he's an excellent QB.

startBBtoday
12/14/08, 11:43 AM
yeah, hasselbeck is definitely not the problem in seattle, and even more so, seneca wallace is not the solution. the seahawks or seneca, whoever has made the decision to keep him at quarterback and not in a slash type position has wasted like, 5 years of that dude's career.

still, it's probably about time for the seahawks to use a second or third round pick on a quarterback.

c_rob2700
12/14/08, 11:43 AM
Seahawks should draft a rookie QB and start planning for the future, but Hasselback should still start for the next couple seasons.

yeah. I know we need to keep Hass for the next year or two I'm just really pissed off this year. It is irritating to watch Matt let the play clock run down cuz he can't get the fucking offense setup and then waste a fucking time out (pretty much at least once per game)...and don't give me the "he called an audible because the defense looked scary" bullshit because when he actually does get the audible play off it generally fails miserably.

Sorry I will shut up. I'm just bitter. I know Matt CAN be a good QB and hopefully he can be healthy next year and we can turn it around.

i'm not trying to be a dick about chase daniel, but even out of senior quarterbacks he's in the generally ranked in the 10-15 range for qbs. he's a great college qb, but i think he's too small to be considered by teams to be a first day prospect

12/14/08, 12:01 PM
Yeah, Daniel's not nearly a 2nd round pick and I don't see any way he goes before Tebow either(as crappy a pro prospect as I think Tebow is).

There's going to be slim pickings in terms of quarterbacks outside of the top guys(depending on if they come out).

i don't mind, I was wrong, I do the same to other people when they don't research before they talk. i saw him being talked about in week 1 on a hawks blog as a possible 2nd round replacement and saw him on a CBS mock draft as 2nd round. Just stuck with me.

yeah makes sense. it'll really depend on how many underclassmen qbs leave for the draft to see how good of a qb the hawks could get. i wouldn't be too surprised if none of the jrs and sophs leave for the draft. stafford would make the most sense to leave.

i think if stafford comes out, then moreno would probably come out, and if moreno comes out, his draft stock will rise an insane amount. it would probably be worth it for seattle to take him with that pick.

That was dumb as hell by the Titans
Yeah...when it was a 56yarder, ok, go for it...but a 49 yarder with a kicker that had alreay hit a 51 in the game...and has nailed a 60 yarder to win a game before...down 1...just wow. Especially calling a pass with a QB who had completed about 40% to that point...over a kicker who was 100%

eh, a lot of the Packer "fans" are already criticizing Rodgers. It is not his fault. He has played 14 games! In his career! He has really good stats. The offense is averaging the same amount of points as last year's team. It's the defense and the horrible coaches.

I gotta say, they have brought it up surprisingly little during the season (Cowboys and TO drive better ratings though, I bet)...but you are right that the weeks before the draft, and also, the deeper the Jets go in the playoffs (assuming they get in), the more it risks being a story again

He didn't need to cross the 30...only needed the very slightest tip of the ball to touch the 30, and despite some of the terrible camera angles CBS chose, he got pretty close. It was marked at the 29 and 3/4's basically, and they didn't even bother to measure if it was a 1st...so, I'd say for the ref to overturn it, he'd have have to seen it a good 1/2 yard or so further back than it was placed to go back and re-spot

I still like the Steelers playoff chances, especially if they can get a bye week, becuase their defense won't allow more than 10 points...and their offense/special teams can probably put up that much if they need to. Plus, they've already beaten some of the playoff teams they'd face
