So..... I didn't mind the other stuff, but on first listen this is terrible :huh: I didn't expect that. Obviously I didn't expect it to revolutionise the way I think about music, but... crazy! Maybe it will grow on me

Saw these guys recently at the AP 20th anniversary party and they were by far one of the worst bands I have EVER seen in my life. Ug. Stupid, stupid songs.

Saw these guys recently at the AP 20th anniversary party and they were by far one of the worst bands I have EVER seen in my life. Ug. Stupid, stupid songs.

It probably doesn't help that Tim's longtime friend/bandmate (Going back to OPIV) was diagnosed with cancer like a day before and it was announced the dayt hey did that. anbd I'm pretty sure Matt was supposed to play bass at that show.

I just don't get how this music can make people happy. Usually, side projects tend to be original and refreshing. Okay, this is, to some extent, original and refreshing, but that's nothing of a good quality project.

...And they definitely need to stop doing those hip-hop breakdowns.

I think this cat is right. I really didn't like their new stuff upon first listen. Other CD was rad, but I was totally disappointed.

On the topic of Transplants/Tim Armstrong...has anyone heard the rumor about Op Ivy somewhat reuniting in Scranton on Warped to play some songs?

yea. but what difference does that make? I own Energy and I love it. Granted I was too young to know who Op Ivy was, but that doesn't mean I can't wish they were still around. So why can't I miss them? I understand the argument you're trying to make and I know my counterpoint is weak and absentminded. So I'll just go ahead and edit that though.
