I voted for ISMFOF. They just plain suck.

See, I actually like TDWP. The rest are godawful, but I had to say Breathe Carolina because they're in the running for the worst band to ever exist.

I Set My Friends On Fire is my far the worst band on this list and most other lists than any of us can compose.

I'd have to say that The Devil Wears Prada is the best band on this list, although i don't listen to them. They pull off a pretty killer show though, although that's not going to go over so well on this poll.

ive never heard of that 4th band, but i think Breathe Carolina takes the cake. You have to have no testicles to be a man and start a band like that (not to fall into typical gender roles or anything)

I agree they are fucking awesome live but they are still a crappy band. While they are generic they are nowhere as bad as most of the bands they are associated with.

HeavyHeavyLowLow are like screamo-y I guess. Since I'm not into hardcore, I can't really get into them.

TDWP I'm pretty sure is one of the most hated bands on this site, so thats why they're up there.

HHLL are more of a mathcore/metalcore type band. While they are not loved on AP they aren't really grouped with these other bands. They are better grouped with #12 Looks Like You, Fear Before The March of Flames, Converge, or Horse the Band

I don't know, maybe it's just me but the screamer sounds remarkably similar to the screamer in HH's TSIBAW (I don't know what he sounded like on subsequent records, I stopped listening after the first one). That's just the vibe I got.

That's a matter of opinion. They have good instrumentation yet questionable vocals which I can understand the hate for. Also some of their hate comes from them supposedly being too fucked up to play live. Also Thursday, a well respected band, picked them as support for a tour they can't be that bad. I can still understand the hate for them.

Contemporary mathcore (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathcore) groups have been associated with grindcore by some commentators. These groups also include elements of post-hardcore (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-hardcore).

Here are some actual grindcore bands I know off the top of my head. Carcass, Circle of Dead Children, Discordant Axis, Agoraphorbic Nosebleed, Brutal Truth, Napalm Death, Nasum ect

They aren't grindcore. They might be associated with that genre due to people not actually knowing what it is. I actually know that because I listen to that genre. Let's hear you name some better grindcore bands that are better than HHLL. They would actually be classified as matchore btw.Mathcore is, first and foremost, a genre that is characterized by the complexity in rhythm. Some may argue, but bands like Protest The Hero have a certain element of mathcore since they integrate a lot of intricate rhythmic patterns in their music.

HeavyHeavyLowLow, on the other hand, seem to be playing with a total absence of meter, consistency in tempo, and tonality. There is a huge difference between using syncopation, polymetrics, and switching tonalities, and writing music without any understanding of these concepts.

They are a two man band comprised of some dude nobody gives a shit about and Jordan Blake, ex-vocalist of A Skylit Drive. The band is also known as Pure Shit.

I think ISMFOF is actually pretty damn good. Dude's scream is good, Other dude's voice is good and some of the music on their cd is friggin incredible. Yeah most of their shit is literally shit but I think if those guys weren't just having fun and got serious they would be a damn incredible band.
