camera question

after going to best buy and checking out some cameras.. i decided to go with this one

it was either between that or a cannon camera.. now the cannon one was good but the screen was so pathetic and tiny and the sony one could take movies and had a larger screen .. but heres my problem.. on my laptop i have USB 1.1 ..which is the slowest piece of shit ever made.. and i also have a firewire port.. which is much faster then the usb 1.1... i looked around sonys website and it didnt say anything about firewire compatabilty .. and i didnt find an email adresss to ask so can you buy firewire cabels for a sony camera

i didnt get the camera yet.. cause its not my birthday but i know im getting it cause ill im getting is money.

if its firewire capable it would say it, i'd get the best that you can get for the money, you'll switch computers and update more often than you would w/ a camera.

i was actually thinking i could go with a card that plugs into my laptop that i can plug the memory stick into .. then i wouldnt have to worry about firewire connectivity .. its more expensive to go that way so i want to try and aviod it.. but i just sent an emal and they said 1to 2 business dats for a response :headshake

the memory cards are a good investment, you can hand them off to developers and they'll be able to print off of them rather than putting everything onto a disk

whatever you do search for a place on the net to buy it i got my sony for almost 100 dollars cheaper off the net than you could find at best buy and even wal mart

alot of times its cheaper on the net but i trust places like Walmart and Best Buy more, alot of the times stuff that is on the net is refurbished
