To give me a book recommendation. I haven't done much reading for pleasure since about Junior year of college and I want to get involved with a book. I'm out of practice so I need a really engaging story that will pull me in. Let me have it.

I always recommend In Cold Blood- Truman Capote, if you haven't read it.

I've read it. I used to read like it was my job so I've read most lit. classics and new classics, I'm looking for something newer that is well written and engrossing.

"I Was Told There'd Be Cake" by Sloane Crosley
"If You Liked School, You'll Love Work" by Irvine Welsh (not finished with this one yet, but still enjoyed the stories I've read in it)
I haven't had a chance to read for my own enjoyment in ages. Those are just the two most recent things I've picked up.
edit: Oh, and "Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah" by Richard Bach. It's a really easy read, but I love this book.

A Fighters Heart- Sam Sheridan
an awesome story of a guy who travels to Thialand/Brazil/USA/ and a few more places and challenges his mind/body/strength/heart and everything else by training in and competing in different forms of Martial Arts. There is a lot more to his story and is one of the most interesting books I have ever read....

Philosophy in the Boudoir by Marquis de Sade
So funny yet somehow enlightening when you consider it in the context of how social conventions have changed since it was written.
