I don't think that's even a literal possibility seeing as all of these teams are playing in DIFFERENT sports completely. You can't compare the AL East to the NFC East or the NBA Atlantic Division because they're not the same sport.
the NFC South > the NFC east
agreed.

no way. atlanta is over rated, tampa bay is over rated and NO cant stop anyone. none of those teams would do anything in the playoffs, they are regular season teams. the giants, cowboys and eagles actually have the potential to do damage in the playoffs and have enough to get to the super bowl. i think the panthers have a shot if they keep running the ball like they are but the rest of that divisions teams have records that dont really reflect the type of team they are.

i don't think the south is better than the east. the east has three teams that could legitimately win the super bowl, the south, in my opinion, has one (Carolina). if the giants beat carolina next week, there won't even be an argument.

the eagles had a good start to the season, a bad run in the middle and are playing great now. if they can find a way to get in it would not shock me if they won a couple of games. westbrook is healthy which is huge for the team, donovan is back playing like he should, the offensive line isnt giving up anything and the defense is getting pressure and keeping other teams to short drives.
and notice i didnt say anything about the redskins, they are just terrible now, i hate them.
atlanta is overrated because they had such an easy schedule, detroit, oakland, green bay, KC, san diego and they still have to play the rams. not to mention they lost to the eagles earlier this year

i don't think Atlanta will be a contender in the playoffs this year. I really feel like it's Carolina's year. The Giants won't repeat, the Cowboys are in a down year, and with Tampa now out of the picture, the Panthers just need to beat the Giants and they'll be set for the playoffs in good shape.

If the Eagles even make it to the playoffs, they wont last past the first round. They might sneak in because Dallas and Atlanta have tough games next week. Atlanta plays at Minnesota while Tampa has the Chargers at home. Granted, the Chargers are desperate and need the win, I don't think it will happen.

the eagles will draw minnesota or arizona in the first round (if they make it) and therefore definitely not lose. they already smashed arizona and unless AP goes for 220 and 3 TD they will beat minnesota handily. i would love to see gus ferotte or tavaris jackson panicking in the face of jim johnson's blitzing schemes

I'm not ready to call McNabb a better QB than Randall Cunningham, but only because that was a totally different era of football. Granted, he's already passed Cunningham in Completions and Attempts, as well as Touchdowns.
Jaws is all that stands in his way of being the best statistical QB in Eagles' history, which I'd love to see happen since I hate Jaws.

I don't think we should be judging the Eagles on this game since they're beating up on a weak Browns team that's playing with their third string quarterback. Although, those wins against the Cards and Giants were pretty impressive. They'll probably make the playoffs since they have the Redskins next and then the Cowboys at home. If they can play like they did against Arizona and New York, then they should win out. If the team that got destroyed by Baltimore shows up, then their playoff hopes go down the drain.
Atlanta has a very strong chance of making the playoffs too but it'll be tough getting past Minnesota. Tampa has the easier road with San Diego and Oakland left on their schedule so they will probably get in, unfortunately.
EDIT: No way is McNabb the best QB in the NFC but the Eagles need him because they pretty much suck with Kevin Kolb.

Maybe you forgot the start of the season...but my tally has the Eagles as 0-2 currently against their last 2 remaining opponents...and going TO Washington to play a team they lost to at home.
Who cares what they MIGHT do in the playoffs, they are less than 50% to get there...shit, the Texans might well go to the Super Bowl the way they are playing, but, last I checked, they were already eliminated.

The teams....@Cincy, @Bal, vs NYC...the records
Washington - 0-3
Philly - 0-2-1
Within the last 6 weeks, both teams have played those same teams, in the same string basically, so, its decent for comparison's sake...and the results were essentially the same. That's not an argument that they are on even ground at the moment...Washington has struggled, Philly seems to be getting back on track, but in the words of the late (in Arizona's view) Denny Green, lets not crown them already. They beat an Arizona team with no balance on a short week...they beat a reeling Giants team (a good win none the less), and they beat the Browns who are starting a guy that was in Cleveland because he was friends with Brady Quinn...and if you need proof that Cleveland doesn't think highly of Dorsey, they had Josh Cribbs at QB for a few straight plays to make something happen
I'll believe they are gonna win out when I see it...I still have faith in Reed to forget why they have been winning (see Kevin Kolb throwing a pass on 1st or 2nd down up 27 in the 4th quarter for examples) and blow this

That win against the Giants is what has be sort of believing in the Eagles. I would say the win against Arizona was impressive but Arizona has been horrible on the east coast all year. This win over Cleveland didn't really show me anything other than how bad the Browns are.
Washington has a chance to pull off the upset yeah, but they better actually come to play this time. That was a pitiful performance they had against the Bengles. The defense looked like they didn't care for the entire first half. Eagles lost to the Bengals because they turned the ball over too many times, which is also why they lost to Baltimore. However, the Eagles seem a bit more motivated than the Redskins right now, so I think that gives them the edge. Washington needs something to get their heads out of their asses.
