Absolutely Unsigned / Plug

To change things up (because that is always more interesting) I have decided to do Absolutely Unsigned a little differently. First, I would like to plug two bands that I just can’t stop listening to: The Progress (http://www.theprogress.net) and The Morning Of (http://www.purevolume/themorningof) (Who was Don’t Pass Go before the name change). The Progress just signed with Negative Progression Records (http://www.negative progression.com) and not only is Seth (owner of Negative Progression) a really nice guy, he has a great ear for great music. If you like early The Promise Ring and miss Braid, then these guys are for you. The Morning Of are a group of kids that have more talent then bands that are twice their age. The lyrics, the music .. It’s all there. Just take a listen! Anyways, I have decided to add only one new band this week, The Twilight Collective (http://www.pure volume.com/thetwilightcollective). The other fourteen will be previous Absolutely Unsigned bands. I enjoy all the bands that I have put up on Absolutely Unsigned, but in one way or another, these fourteen I am putting up have helped me out, been nice to me, talked to me on AIM, and / or made fun of me. I will be doing a few of these later on down the road, so don’t panic! Make sure you re-check out the bands

yea good call for sure, both are my homeys and great bands...the progress has been rocking for quite sometime out of south jersey and their hard work and amazing music has been rewarded, as will be the case with the morning of(dont pass go) ...a young band who just absolutely blew me away when i finally got to catch them live, their new tracks are so tight and unique, big things will be happening soon i'm sure!

Whats up with Negative Progression signing all of my friends? First Little Compass now The Progress. Right on for those boys, and Evan from The Progress has another rocking band called Labour that fucking smokes and their cd is coming out on my lovely label, Your Majesty Records, in August. If you like the Progress... well the 2 bands sound nothing alike but check em:
