haven't heard anyone really talk about this release. it has seven live songs collected from shows at the fillmore in san francisco, the wiltern in los angeles, and the showbox in the band's hometown of seattle. there aren't any new songs on the album, though, it's a very storyteller's like album with a lot of gibbard commentary as well as a sebadoh cover of "brand new love" at the end. anyways, here's the track listing...

1. we laugh indoors
2. why'd you have to live here
3. lightness
4. photobooth
5. we looked like giants
6. 405
7. blacking out the friction/ brand new love

"We Have The Facts And We're Voting Yes" as well as "The Photo Album" are their best releases to date.

Wow that was totally random, but i'm gonna have to disagree with you. I think Transatlanticism is better than the photo album. Their first two albums were the best.

i hated "you can play these songs with chords"....all the songs really sounded to me like they should have never been released...just personal opinion...cuz i love "we have the facts..." so much. just shocked that a band who sounds like such total perfectionists would release those recordings.
