'Moron' Bush Beat Kerry at Yale
President Bush, who is routinely derided as a "moron" by embittered Democrats, earned slightly better grades at Yale University than Sen. John Kerry, the supposed Massachusetts intellectual.
According to college transcripts from the top Ivy League school obtained by the Boston Globe, Kerry was well on his way to flunking out during his freshmen year, receiving no fewer than four D's.
Kerry's intellectual deficit revealed itself in geology, two history courses and, most surprisingly for a top politician, political science.
"I always told my dad that D stood for distinction," the failed presidential candidate told reporters.
He showed a slight improvement in subsequent semesters, topping out with an 81 average his senior year. Kerry had a cumulative average of 76, or what some might call "a gentleman's C."
The president received just one D in his freshman year - a 69 in astronomy - to Kerry's four. His cumulative grade point average was 77 - a point higher than Kerry's.
Last year, when an analysis of Kerry's Navy aptitude test showed that Bush actually had a higher IQ, the top Democrat blamed his lackluster performance on drinking.
"I must have been drinking the night before I took that military aptitude test," Kerry told NBC anchorman Tom Brokaw.
President Bush suffered the same type of derision during the 2000 campaign, when critics regularly portrayed him as intellectually inferior to Al Gore.
Gore attended divinity school after graduating from Yale. But transcripts from Vanderbilt University showed that he received F's in five of the eight classes he took over the course of three semesters.
Gore left Vanderbilt without receiving a degree.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA......... Does anyone else hear the sweet chimes of irony? And we all thought he didn't want to release his navy records because it might contradict his "war" story's.....
----------------------------------------
Radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh said it's obvious why Democrats did not release Kerry's records during the presidential campaign.
"It would have made them a laughing stock," Limbaugh said during his show today. "They're out there talking about Bush as a dunce. ... He (Bush) gets better grades at Yale than John Kerry. ... It's typical. [The Democrats are] a bunch of pretentious, spoiled, lying brats."

I never liked Kerry anyways. Worst possible candidate for the Democrats.

I posted this in the other thread like this but just because Bush made similar grades doesn't mean he is as smart, listening to the guy, i'd say you could figure that out. Stratgery.

they were both some of the worst possible candidates for their parties, but in kerry's defense, he did stick with college and went on to law school. horrible president prospect, though.
Well, I've said it before and I'll say it again: I wasn't voting for Kerry, I was voting against Bush. Kerry was such a nothing candidate in the primaries, it was ridiculous.

Heard about this on the news the other night. Doesn't suprise me they're as inteligent (or stupid) as each other. After all, they're both puppets at the jist of it.

Actually the point of the article is that Bush performed better than Kerry. So they arent equal. The "Bush is an idiot" mantra is all trendy politics, but the truth is Bush is more intelligent than 90% or more of the people that call him an idiot.

I don't vote, but I think if Kerry were president now.. we'd have a horrible economic crisis, he's such an idiot. And now it is PROVEN that Bush is not as big as an idiot as a lot of ppl say he is. I'm glad this article went out. Not only is Kerry a flip-flop, he's a complete idiot. (altho I do admit that I prolly would get worse scores in a University than he did.)

Yes! The leader of our country is a C student! Rejoice! We shouldn't be happy about the two leading candidates in American politics being "average', even at Yale. There are people at good schools who get A's. It should be the best and the brightest that lead our country.
