I am watching Crank: Made In America on HBO which is about the production of Methanphetamine in the United States, and my hometown, which is a small town of about 11,000 was just shown on there. I've never been so proud to have been raised there. God that's disturbing.

our town is so fucked up, Keokuk, Iowa, it has been on Dateline NBC, 2020 for all kinds of weird shit, such as having a cult and kids were comitting group suicides and we had corrupt police officers, it's like the biggest shit hole on the planet.

I was reading some magazine the other day and it had a map of meth labs per 1000 and the highest percentage were in Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri. I was surprisingly shocked.

Yeah, because it's such a complex operation it has to be done in rural areas, away from the population, such as farm land.

Rural areas are also the easiest places for the cookers to steal anhydrous ammonia. But yeah, meth busts are no big deal here any more they happen so often.


To anyone thinking of trying meth: Please for the love of God do not. Just watch someone on a meth high sometime, its the most horrific thing you will ever witness.
