It seems The Aquabats (http://www.theaquabats.com) have tied for #1 most added at CMJ this week, with none other than Coldplay.

That's pretty cool. I like these guys. Tying with Coldplay is pretty amazing, though.

It's not that amazing. Respectable college radio stations shouldn't be adding such mainstream music as Coldplay. So many don't, hence, Aquabats tying them for adds. It'll be much more amazing if Aquabats is in the top 10 or so of the Radio 200 chart than if they tie Coldplay for adds, imo.

CMJ actually stands for College Media Journal, but I thought it was music for a while as well. BTW, what school do you go to? I'm music director of my radiostation too! (Bowling Green State University.) wbgufm.com

Holy hell!!! Who'da ever saw that coming??? Coldplay are one of the definitive bands of our generation, and Aquabats! are a bunch of goofy bastards in leotard superhero outfits...what a strange fucking world...
