my guitar is totally boned. the input jack is somehow messed up to the point where if i move the sound will cut out and the cord always has a hard time staying in, any suggestions to what i should do?

that's happened to me a number of times. if you take it to your local guitar center/sam ash/music store, they should be able to fix it for like $5.. or free if you make friends with them. good luck!

ill ask my guitar teacher to fix it saturday then, i was just hoping there was something i could do.

haha, well basically you have to unscrew the plate around the input jack and fix the wires inside because they came loose.

Yeah, that's your best bet. It's happened to me before...easy fix.

Yeah, the same thing has happened to me. It's not hard to get fixed. Just make sure you don't rup the chord or step on it after you get it fixed, that's usually how it gets broken.

just get the screw thats on the jack tightened..thats happened to me as well

yeah the wires are probably loose. all i had to do was solder the wires back onto the input jack. not really something thats worth paying someone to do.
