Hey Gilmour!
I always wanted to name a band this. It's like the character in Billy Madison who always says "Hey Gilmour! YOU SUCK! Ya' Jackass!" That way the first track of your cd could be that sound clip, and then your band comes in with a tearing hook, making the guy eat his words, hahahaha.

In all seriousness, a band name should be something that means something to you.

Yes.
I recently put together a new band just to jam with, we called it Geneva Convention because it's a personal joke.

I understand. This is just a fuck around band though, and I'm just trying to get some suggestions so that we can tweak them to our liking.

Well a really bad emo name could be funny, something like, "Bleeding Hearts for Hornless Unicorns of Dying Black."
Make sure you put the period at the end. It shows the finality of the band's name

I whole-heartedly agree. It should also be somewhat memorable.
I'd like to think my band name falls under both categories.
