has anyone heard of any rumored bands that will be playing this year?

last years tour with panic at the disco, motion city soundtrack, the hush sound, and phantom planet was amazing.
hoping for another incredible show this year.

ps. sorry if a thread about this has already been posted.

I've heard AAR as the headliner, and Jack's Mannequin (should be main event) is supporting. That's the only thing that is official.

But some other supporters i've heard around are New Found Glory and Set Your Goals.

I would so go if they support. I hope that turns out to be true.

When they first posted Jack's and AAR here, Joe said something along the lines of "the support blew me away" and he's a huge NFG fan, and then just lurking on some other websites, just some common names mentioned, nothing official though.

The HCT tour website has been updated...the voting is gone, and the PATD theme was replaced with a dark blue background... I Guess we will find out the bands pretty soon? What month did they announce the bands for last year? I forgot, but I thought it was late January...

Edit- I just found out last year that PATD was announced as headliner on January 10th. So we should be hearing this week or next :) Hope the rumored bands are true...

keeping my fingers crossed that JM is on this tour... even if it's as support. if they are booked as anything less than main support though, that sucks.

New Found Glory as a support?

Now THAT is hilarious.

i was thinking the same thing. NFG headlining with JM and SYG as support would be a much better tour, imo.

Why is Jack's Mannequin always opening for bands, they need a headlining tour

The Get Up Kids.

Despite their support on a previous Honda Civic tour, they need to headline their own tour for their reunion.

ya
that does confuse me
but alot of bands do that
and even though andrew could easily sell out a venue like starland ballroom
im sure hes just saving a headlining tour for something HUUGEE...
or maybe hes waiting until he has enough of a back catalog to switch up and have completely diofferent setlists every night?

Yeah I agree. I think they have enough popularity to sell out mid-size venues, but their fanbase in comparison to AAR is not nearly as big (and that is not a good thing, in my opinion). So Honda is probably just wanting to get the band that will sell the most tickets. In my opinion, Paramore would've done very well but AAR will probably sell a good amount of tickets. However, according to this http://www.prettypolly.com/hotframeset.html, it says "Honda Civic Tour 2009 featuring All American Rejects and Jack's Mannequin." If AAR was the only headliner, it would not have mentioned JM. So is there a chance of a co-headliner!?! And last year all the advertising only said "Honda Civic Tour 2008 featuring Panic At the Disco", and the year before that it said "Honda Civic Tour 2007 featuring Fall Out Boy". Im probably reading into this way too much, but it sounds like this may be a co-headliner

Ehh... They did the big headlining run with The Audition in 2007 then the Hammers and Strings tour this year was a pretty big one as well. I'm sure they'll be making good bank on these tours though.

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!
the AAR;s fanbase has definetely dwindled lately
and they are definetely not as huge as they once were
i think the most AAR could do right now is Starland as well...
and Jacks has only grown since Stephenie meyer directed the vid for the resolution lol
i would love to see an AAR and JM coheadline
and i personally enjoy metro Station no matter what anybody says
so im def stoked for this tour
the only thing missing to make it perfect is BrokeNCYDE
(and no that wasnt a joke, i legitamately enjoy music from them lol)
(and the hate comments begin lol)
