We've filmed hundreds of bands this year, but one that stands out which perhaps many outside Australia won't have heard much of is The Drones. We'd like to spread the word, so you can check them out live through a full concert video stream here:

They're not the greatest band, I'll admit, but Downtown Battle Mountain is a fantastic album. But I wouldn't expect you to understand quality, since the only export of Australia anyone gives a shit about is Vegemite. Even that's just for the lulz.

And no, Downtown Battle Mountain is not a fantastic album.

But I suppose your right about the quality of the country, we should not even bother when you have such great assets like Bring Me the Horizon.

well im just saying short stack won oz artist of the year. and im not saying they are the best band in ausralia but i am a fan. they conect with their fans really well and I admire that. Shaun andy and bradie and all super nice dudes, and looking at the posiition they are in, havent even realsesd an album and being as big as they are, they could be total dbags, but they arent. they are very pop, but i think in a few years they may be one of the biggest bands austalia has produced.

Probably not. It's more Lights and Music than it is Strangers in the Wind. Just listen to Hearts on Fire, the best song on there, in my opinion, and if you don't like it you probably won't like the album.

Birds of Tokyo are bland and generic. Karnivool are much better, Ian is wasting his time in Birds. The Living End are fantastic too.
