As you already know, Finch (http://www.finchmusic.com)'s new album, Say Hello To Sunshine, was released this past Tuesday, June 7th. If you have yet to pick up a copy for yourself and need some reassurance, then check out the album's e-card (http://www2.fanscape.com/finch/redirects/finch_ecard_tp.aspx).

I saw these guys on wed. at the chain reaction, they still have a bad ass live show, the new songs song amazing and the cd has evolved the finch sound..

I am not dissapointed. Granted, the new CD is a little different, I still think they're Finch and some of these songs are pretty fucking cool. Looks like they've been reading up on the Poe. Roderic Usher is awesome if you haven't read it. That song is also awesome. How his voice chops with the guitar. That's so f-ing awesome!

Someone in a review was dissapointed that they didn't have a few slower tracks on this album. I agree. This album could have benefited from a track like Ender. Something pretty and bittersweet.

strip me of my scene points i dont care....i love the new album. bought it yest, and after 3 listens i love it. nates voice sounds amazing...the guitars are damn impressive and leaps and bounds past WIITB...the bass is nasty....and the drums are intense. yes, they have darker and heavier sound....but do not write this album off.

The best thing of this album is the artwork.

i was also extremely surprised by this album. based on what people were saying about the album before the release i figured it would be ok at best and that i really wouldnt like it much at all. despite this i picked up the album on tuesday and was really shocked by how much i liked it. finch did a great job on this album, and anybody who wrote them off before the album was released (even after hearing the demos, which i didnt really like) should really give the album a chance.
