right.... all of his reviews are fairly half assed and it's hard to believe he actually listened to most of the albums he reviewed, if you actually read a few instead of deducting scene points you'd realize that...but thanks for replying.

Well I personally dont think it's very good....he gives some good insight onto the bands past..but as soon as he starts talking about the album it starts making less and less sense..have you heard the new album? Practically nothing he says about it makes sense...it has a " less tech/hardcore sound" than the last album, bitemarks and bloodstains is "death metal-ish"...the only part that makes a bit of sense is when he talks about "a man alone"...my problem with his reviews is that when he actually starts talking about an album he is usually way off...it's like he hasn't listened to the album or he skimmed through the songs quick.

It's not that his writing is terrible...like I said, he gives good insight into the bands past, what they've accomplished, etc.. it's just that in most of his reviews he either makes a ridiculous comparison or as soon as he starts talking about the actual album there's very little description or a description that makes no sense.
