the microkorg is pretty fun, i will admit. it just takes a while getting used to the little keys.

Im getting a synth soon to. I was going to get the Alesis which is 400. I was also looking into the microKORG. How much is that?

I compose all the keyboard parts on Powertab Editor and export the midi. I wish I could get better patches, a real keyboard player would be better. No one can ever tell the difference though!

every mg-1 on ebay levels out at about 325-350.

if you can't afford that, you probably shouldn't even be considering a moog.

Jesse from MCS uses two different synths. He does use a Concertmate i belive and he also uses an Alesis Micron.

The people who reviewed it on Musicians Friend (great site by the way) like the Alesis better.

According to reviews and stuff the Alesis has a good realistic Piano effect and the microKORG does have one. I think i will go try them both out at guitar center and then decide.

I've got the microkorg and it's quite excellent, though I've always wanted an MG-1...
