So, you think your band has what it takes...The thick skin to handle the fans, the bands, the industry big wigs with cynical eyes fixed on you; oh, and not to mention the intense heat? Here's your chance to get your act together (literally) and get your band on the music radar at Hellfest 2K5. After eight successful years of holding the torch as tastemakers for metal, hardcore, punk and bands that have, or will be making, huge dents in the music scene, Hellfest is always the first to have its finger on the pulse for all things rock. Make this year the year your band's name is dripping off the tip of everyone's tongue.

Here's the scoop:
To submit your band for consideration for this year's Hellfest, visit http://www.radiotakeover.com and add your band to the radiotakeover site (yes, it's FREE). That's it. Once your music is uploaded to the //radiotakeover site, be sure to recruit someone-make that lots of someones-to request your band's music. radiotakeover will choose from a stack of submissions, the most requested bands to play this year's Hellfest. On the weekend of August 19-21 in New Jersey's boasting capital of Trenton, your band just might get to take the third stage at the Sovereign Bank Arena.

New jersey is also the richest state by statistic. my guess is you haven't even been here, and I've been to New York...it's nothing great. By the way the Rangers, islanders, and Sabres are all pitiful. Plus 2 of your 3 football teams play in NJ. I hope a school bus runs you over tool.
