Whats your favorite Receiving End Of Sirens album?

So far it seems fans like Between the Heart and the Synapse more than The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi. Personally, I think Mi Fa Mi was a much stronger, more polished sounding album, even though it lacked the drive of the first album.

What do you think?

Both are great. Between the Heart and the Synapse is greater. They just sounded so much more alive and intense on their first record, and it was so well executed. It had its flaws, but most of the great albums do.

I agree for the most part. I feel like their first album was more artistically appealing with its flaws, whereas the second album was virtually flawless but lacking any unique characteristics.

Between the Heart and the Synapse is a much more powerful album, in my opinion. Mi Fa Mi is TOO polished.

The first poll was twice as one-sided. I'll personally take BTHATS every time. The only edge I give to Mi Fa Mi is its atmosphere and the fact that it didn't include the overly emphasized transitions (which I see as BTHATS's only real downfall). I also like the fact that Mi Fa Mi is a bit more concise, lyrically, leaving much less of a void between writer and reader. But, with that said, the first throttles the second as far as musicianship, vocals, and creativity are concerned.

BTHATS was one of my favorite albums ever. I hardly even liked the second album.
