i think the jury made the right decision using the "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard. it basically came down to jackson's word against the acuser's and though it's difficult to judge this case without biased opinions about jackson, i think the evidence was not there. personally, i think the decision was just, however, sadly enough, it's still difficult to say weather or not jackson is fully innocent. also, i think the jury was under a lot of presure to convict jackson, and i'm sure most of them are going home to communities that were pushing for a guilty verdict, so it's sort of comforting to know that these people deliberated for more than a week, analyzed all of the evidence throughly, and came out today with a verdict that did not necessarily follow the mass media hysteria.
