So tomorrow is going to be my first punk/emo/whatever you want to call it show. Im going to the Green Street bar in Greensboro, NC to see Mae, The Academy Is..., JamisonParker, and Days Away. The Academy Is... is the main reason I want to go so hopefully i'll get to meet them. I'm excited.

Yeah, I saw that show in Dallas on the 8th, overall it was pretty good. But I was really dissapointed with JamisonParker, but it might have been because even who was there to see Mae insisting that the band's name was James and Parker. But yeah, Mae always puts on a good show, and Days Away never gets old, despite me seeing them around 5 times, they just seem to be on everything currently.

i'd go to the show in greensboro but, i'd only be going for mae (sorry not a big fan of the others). so i'll wait till warped tour in va beach.

i guess my first show like that would be the juliana theory (who i didn't give a shit about), glassjaw (my reason for attending), and piebald when they played peabody's in virginia beach in the summer of 2002. before that i went to metal shows. i still go to both type now but i prefer the more 'scene' shows just because it's a more friendly atmosphere.
