There was a 7.0 earthquake in northern california, and there was a tsunami warning, and then they canceled it...but I got pretty scared when my mom called me up and started telling me I should get to higher ground, haha...(because I live 2 blocks from the beach)

Natural disasters suck.

I'm not a big fan of tornados, mostly because I'm deathly afraid of thunderstorms and tornados are a lot like thunderstorms so are hurricanes, but those are never really close to where I am, so mostly what we get are just lots of rain and wind. But tornados are really scary.

I don't mind thunderstorms, but around here, whenever we have a thunderstorm, there's almost guaranteed to be some tornado action going on, so it makes it a lot worse. Is there anywhere in the country where you're free from any type of natural disaster? I want to know and move there, heh.

Crazy, I'm down in San Juan on weekends and that quake on Saturday shook my whole house it knocked a picture off my dresser and woke me up.....I didn't even hear anything shake today but then again I'm further away now.Haha.

I think Tsunami's and Hurricanes are the scariest just because I drive a lot. Earthquakes don't even phase me cause I've lived in Cali all my life.....well maybe a tornado would be scary but that's just cause all the shit they pick up and throw around.

yea, same here... earthquakes dont phase me at all, i'm so used to them...

tsunamis, tornados, and hurricanes especially kinda freak me out...

it does seem like there are more earthquakes lately, but i think that they're just being reported more since the tsunami because everyone is so paranoid

i dont think youll get one unless it hits 8. but damn is everyon ok? the biggest quake ive been in was a 5.2 and that was big enough.

in 1992 we had a 7.3, that was pretty insane.
