Fan Reports In: "Last night at the Gatsby's American Dream (www.gatsbysamericandream.com) /The Receiving End Of Sirens (www.thereceivingendofsirens.com) / The Rocket Summer (www.therocketsummer.com) show in Poughkeepsie,NY, TRS did not play, they said Bryce has Laryngitis but will be okay for tonight's show in New Jersey. A side note, the show last night was sold out and everyone went CRAZY for TREOS...screaming the words ridiculously loud."

No dude, TREOS pulled in about 15 kids the last time they played here, that was a week before their album came out. A month and a half later, like 300 kids showed up. I DID NOT expect that at all, and I was fucking shocked. I seriously expected the turn out to be a total dud. Even Feldman was like, "this turn out is fucking unbelievable compared to the last times they've played here"... it was nuts.

Yeah I was at the show on Long Island the night before. Bryce from TRS was constantly apologizing for his voice being not what it normally is. He had to pass on some songs that required some high notes but was taking requests as best as he could. TREOS really owned that night though...it stunk that they couldn't of closed the night and played like the whole album that would've rocked

they def deserve it... they only had like 20 or so show up for our date... which was very disappointing to me... i'm glad more are showing up though--they are such nice guys and make the most incredible music.

the show was in NY... TREOS is from boston
but yeah - their live show is definitely among the best ive seen... on the record, the production is similar on every song so songs seem to bleed together in a way that some appear less memorable, but make no doubt about it when they play live its like seeing thursday when they opened for STD

i forgot to mention that after they played "planning a prison break" and "the rival cycle" they asked the crowd what they wanted to hear, so they played "this armistace", "flee the factory", and "broadcast quality"
another note i forgot to add in was that half the crowd atleast left after TREOS.

god i hate myself. i went to get a ticket monday for the show at maxwells and it was sold out. WAHHHHHHHH.
I took GAD and TREOS to the Milwaukee County Zoo.
It was sweet.

the show tonight in jersey is sold out and i am pissed off... i was soo looking forward to go. i coulda been on the guestlist but maxwell's didnt even give TREOS a list, they had to pay for spots. weiird.

well....even though i think rocket summer should be opening...this show is ownage, see anyone there tonight thats going!

Flee The Factory
Broadcast Quality.
They wouldn't play "The Evidence" even though the crowd asked for it. They joked and said "Gatsby's American Dream knows it, ask them to play it, they wrote it for us". They gave a choice for the last song between Broadcast Quality and the War of All Against All. Crowd was nuts. Screaming the lyrics out, packed house. A/C didnt work, so it was about 90 degrees or more in the club.
Also, I met the drummer from TREOS...he was really cool and appreciative.
Gatsby was very good also. I don't have a full set list but they played:

anyways that show was no where near their home, want to see them at home, wait until this fall when the somers, ct teen center reopens, that is a show

While the crowd was bigger for TREOS, the crowd was more die-hard fans for Gatsby. They lead singer was basically in the crowd. Everyone had their hands in the air, clapping, pointing, etc. I was about 5 people back from the stage. Everyone was screaming the lyrics, and having a great time. There was much more movement for GAD than TREOS.

They're not playing in taunton tomorrow. I heard that the reason is to spend time with their family.
Yeah, when treos plays their real home territory the crowds go wild. Straying away from there I found that my friend and I were the only ones singing/screaming along.

god damn i was so close to getting to bring back gatsbys to my house to crash....fuckin hour car ride turned em off since theyre going in the opposite direction.
the show owned. treos/gad should always tour together
