Good Charlotte Are A Form Of Terrorism

JAKARTA, Indonesia - Good Charlotte has canceled an upcoming Indonesian concert because of terrorism fears, concert promoters said Tuesday.

The pop-punk rockers had been scheduled to play in Jakarta later this month. They canceled the performance because the United States and other countries have warned recently that terrorists were poised to launch more bombings in the world\'s most populous Muslim nation, promoters Java Musikindo said in a statement.

Foreign rock and pop bands are choosing to play in Indonesia, where the economy is growing fast after several years of stagnation. However, last-minute cancellations due to terror fears are common.

Al-Qaida-linked militants have struck three times at Western targets in Indonesia the last three years. The deadliest attack was the Oct. 12, 2002, bombings on the resort island of Bali that killed 202 people, most of them foreign tourists.

Nah, they're not really that generic if you actually listen to them. They just play pop-rock. And it's actually good too. The singles suck, but the rest of the new album is actually pretty good.

No, it's not. Good Charlotte used to be one of my favorite bands a few years back. I remember just 2 years ago when I saw them with NFG and LTJ, I thought that was heaven. But there's no excuse for how shitty their last album was. Even TYATH missed the mark on half the album. I can still listen to their self titled from time to time, but it's really sad how they've basically become a corporation and have thrown themselves at the MTV crowd for promotions. I don't like the term "sellouts", but if any band has, it's them.

Maybe thats why the fans are deceptioned with the changes of the band. NFG ar not the same kind of band than Good Charlotte or Simple Plan in my opinion. Those other 2 used to play pop-punk but now the little punk influences they had have disappeared.

They're still scheduled to play here in Manila in early July, so... balls. Since 9/11, a lot of artists like Oasis, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have bailed because of terror warnings. But other high profile artists have been pushing through with their concerts recently, like Ja Rule, Ashanti, Simple Plan and Avril. And that really gets the sand in my vagina.
