Click here (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=75476) to read my Bear VS. Shark (http://bearvsshark.com/) interview. Their new album Terrorhawk came out yesterday on Equalvision Records (http://www.equalvision.com).

This turned out to be a great album! I checked them out at Bamboozle and they were very solid. It's good to see Equal Vision getting behind them.

i love bear vs shark but they aren't helping themselves out with their crappy interview answers as of late.

The live show kills any record material, but this album is better than there last. Does anyone remember the fear before/anatomy of a ghost/BVS tour....it was one of fear befores first...good times!

I don't know, BVS's last record is my favorite record ever by any band. So of course, I had high expectations / hopes for the new one. There's a couple good tracks, mainly "...Roller Coaster", and "Seven Stop Hold Restart". But for me, it's just doesn't capture the same energy as the first record. On "Six Bar Phrase Hey Hey," it sounds like they have the right idea going. It reminds me of the material from the first record, but sadly, the song is barely twenty seconds long. Also, they opted not to print the lyrics in the liner notes. This is a strange move to me, because even though the frantic and urgency-soaked yelling of the vocals is one of the most appealing parts of this band, the energy often results in indecipherable lyrics.

I don't know, I was just expecting more. And not knowing what the hell Marc is yelling doesn't make things any better.
