Due to Midtown (http://www.midtownrock.com) being tied up in the studio during Warped Tour they are unable to play the Smartpunk stage ... so Acceptance (http://www.acceptancemusic.com) has taken their place, they will be playing Aug 10-15 and start in Washington DC.

Dammit. I was excited to see Midtown again. I like Acceptance also, so I'll probably go see them, but Midtown were one of the top 5 bands I wanted to see at Warped Tour. Oh well. Hopefully they'll tour in the fall.

Whoa, this is possibly the greatest news for me all summer. Acceptance is my favorite band. They had to cancel last time they came through Baltimore, so I will be right up front for that. I wondered if they would ever do Warped, it never really seemed like their type of thing, but I am so not complaining.
