When I listen to 'A Playlist Killed The Mixtape', the vocalist sounds SO MUCH similar to another band's vocalist, but I can't figure out which one... help? xD Thanks.

Pretty much the majority of vocalists that play that similar style of music? Auto tuned and all.

If you mean the second vocalist - those vocals on the recording were done by Daniel Lancaster.
From Select Start's Liner Notes:
Additional vocals on Select Start's "A Playlist Killed The Mix Tape" by Daniel Lancaster of Stages & Stereos
Note: when performed live, Select Start's backing vocalist, Matt, handles this part.
Please check out Daniel's current project at: http://www.myspace.com/stagesandstereosfla
IMHO, Daniel may have one of the most awesome voices I have ever heard, LIVE, for this genre.
From Mayday Parade info on BEEBO about their first release:
"Jamie All Over", the first track on the album, is a coveroriginallyrecorded by Jason Lancaster's previous band, Kid NamedChicago, which alsoincluded fellow drummer Jake Bundrick and guitaristAlex Garcia.Featured in this song is Jason's little brother DanielLancaster whowas formerly the singer of Save it For Sunrise, now thesinger of WeAre Action. Both of which are very popular Tallahasseebands.
Daniel also contributed some amazingly high vocals on brotherJason's current project, Go Radio's, "Forever My Father" (one of myfavorite Go Radio songs) http://www.myspace.com/wearegoradio

The vocals on Select Start's new EP, <3, are not effected like in their all electronic EP, The Rotary.
<3 more closely reflects Select Start's live sound and is considered by many a return to some of their lesser known tracks from their 2006 release, Giving Up On Thinking Clearly.
Select Start's <3 is being streamed in its entirety from PureVolume's Home page, http://www.purevolume.com (http://www.purevolume.com/).
PV designated Select Start one of the Top 21 Unsigned Artists of 2008. http://www.purevolume.com/topunsigned2008
