Anyone coming to Milwaukee for Summerfest(starts June 30th)? It is the biggest music festival in the country! Well, if anyones going, lemme know what shows...maybe we'll meet up. And if your not going...well you just should...its cheap as hell to see tooooons of bands for 11 days straight. Plus good food/beer. :)

summerfest is going to be lame this year. it's gonna be all old geezers except at the academy is, coheed, death cab and weezer. i take it back. there will be old drunk guys ever where.

SummerFest here is cool, except the bands which is just a bunch of locals.

If I'm there, it will apparently be July 2nd & 3rd because that's when some people I know are going. But I have a feeling I won't be going because the only thing I want to see out of those two days is Talib Kweli.

i went to summerfest like 7 years ago when my mom and i lived with my grandparents for the summer.
damn that was awesome too. everyone in the WI area should go, it's definitely worth it

If I could go more than those 2 days (or even 2 other days besides the ones these people want to go down for), I would. I actually had free passes given to me somehow through a company I worked for a few years ago, but I never got the chance to use them. I've never actually been to it, even though I lived in WI for ~10 years.

Some friends are going down there Saturday and Sunday (I'm not because I didn't think it was worth it since I only want to see Talib Kweli out of those two days). I'll be in Wausau instead.
ahh gotcha. yeah this year isnt that great, but im definatly hitting up a few shows...and yeah there is absolutly nothing Sunday worth seeing. but next week i got a few(and yes, I am going to see Journey..;))
