My drummer is about to buy a new kit, and he has like $2400 limit...any suggestions?

Thats a ton of money. You can buy a fucking kick ass set for that amount of money. Drums isnt my primary instrument and i dont own a set so i cant help you in the suggestions department. But i would say go onto www.musiciansfriend.com and just look around and read some of the rteviews. This site is mad helpful when looking to buy something new and i use it all the time.

Go with MAA. I think you have to call them and say what you want etc etc to get a price quote.
